Principal Manufacturing IoT Security Architect

Job Summary

Seeking a Principal Manufacturing IoT & OT Security Architect for a remote, full-time role responsible for establishing security architecture and governance frameworks that protect critical manufacturing operations while enabling industrial AI and analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise-wide industrial security architecture standards and establish secure edge-to-cloud connectivity patterns
• Design and govern solutions across Purdue Levels 0 through 5, ensuring secure communication paths and remote access strategies
• Define approved architectures for industrial data collection, AI model deployment, and digital twin environments while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity frameworks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related discipline; Associate's Degree with relevant experience may be considered
• 7+ years of experience in industrial control systems, operational technology, and industrial cybersecurity
• Deep expertise in Purdue Enterprise Reference Architecture, IEC 62443, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• Experience with PLCs, DCS platforms, SCADA systems, and manufacturing execution systems
• Proven ability to design secure architectures for industrial IoT, edge computing, and cloud integration
