Principal Mechanical Architect

Job Summary

Serving as the technical authority for mechanical packaging and system integration, the remote Principal Mechanical Architect will lead the design of data center hardware solutions, collaborating with engineering teams and customers to develop manufacturable and reliable products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical architecture and packaging design for data center hardware and interconnect solutions
• Collaborate with customers to understand application requirements and operational constraints
• Conduct design reviews and failure analysis to ensure product reliability and manufacturability

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of mechanical design and product development experience
• Experience supporting data center infrastructure and electronics packaging
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and reliability engineering
• Experience utilizing CAD and simulation tools
