Principal Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver mechanical assemblies, including full chassis design for high-performance electronic products
• Provide technical leadership to a small design team and manage all aspects of mechanical design, including BOM creation and vendor interactions
• Support customer trials, field issues, and product sustaining throughout the product lifecycle

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 12+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
• Experience with high-powered production enclosures and power/thermal issues associated with PCBs
• Proven collaboration with production shops and manufacturing teams
• Understanding of relevant regulations and standards for safety and environmental requirements
