Job Summary

Leading the development of scientific publications, the full-time remote Principal Medical Writer will manage the creation of peer-reviewed manuscripts, abstracts, and posters while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support clinical and commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and write high-quality scientific and medical content for various publication types
• Translate complex scientific data into clear communications for diverse audiences
• Oversee the publication planning and execution process, ensuring adherence to guidelines and best practices

Required qualifications

• Advanced degree (MS, PhD, MD or similar) in genetics, molecular biology, or a related field
• 3-5 years of professional medical writing experience, preferably in genetic testing
• Strong publication record with over 10 publications in medical genetics
• Understanding of scientific research methodologies and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in data visualization and relevant software tools
