Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal MongoDB DBA.

Key Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction for Managed Services MongoDB offerings and act as a technical escalation point for complex issues
• Provide guidance on MongoDB software product strategy and create technical content for community consumption
• Train and mentor Managed Services employees while participating in proactive tasks to enhance service delivery

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with MongoDB technology or distributed software administration
• Advanced-level MongoDB knowledge including installation, configuration, and tuning
• Experience with replication, sharding, and production environments with large datasets
• Familiarity with Linux or FreeBSD and programming languages such as PHP, Java, or Python
• Ability to work remotely
