Principal Network Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Network Engineer with a telecom focus.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless solutions
• Develop and implement network policies and standards while providing technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers
• Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to meet network requirements and maintain comprehensive network documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
• Eight years of experience in network engineering, with at least two years in a senior or principal role
• Advanced knowledge of network routing, switching, LAN/WAN, wireless, network design, and security
• Proven ability to lead and mentor network engineers
• Advanced networking certifications are desired
