Principal Network Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing cloud infrastructure, the full-time Principal Network Engineer will design, deploy, and operate high-speed Ethernet-based networks while collaborating with deployment teams and automating hardware operations in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Designing, deploying, and operating high-speed Ethernet networks and WAN infrastructure
• Collaborating with deployment teams to ensure accurate BOMs and implementing Reference Architectures
• Automating the deployment and operations of multiple vendors' hardware

Required qualifications

• 8-10+ years of experience in networking and infrastructure roles
• Proven experience with high-speed Ethernet technologies such as VLAN, BGP, and OSPF
• Strong knowledge of WAN technologies including MPLS, BGP, and SD-WAN
• Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting
• Experience managing vendor relationships with carriers and ISPs
