Principal Network Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the technical direction and operational strategy for AI interconnect networks, the full-time Principal Network Engineer will provide technical leadership in managing Infiniband and RDMA-based network fabrics, ensuring reliability and scalability while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Designing and evolving large-scale Infiniband and RoCE fabric architectures to meet future demands
• Acting as the senior escalation point for complex network incidents, leading technical investigations and fixes
• Driving cross-team initiatives to enhance fabric reliability and operational maturity

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in network engineering, focusing on HPC, AI, or hyperscale data center networking
• Expert-level experience with Infiniband and large-scale RoCE fabrics
• Deep understanding of RDMA internals and congestion management
• Strong expertise in modern data center routing and control planes (BGP, OSPF, ECMP)
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical initiatives across teams
