Principal Network Systems Architect

Job Summary

To support the deployment of NG911 network architectures, the full-time Principal Network Systems Architect will design, implement, and oversee technical architecture while ensuring compliance with industry standards, working both remotely and onsite as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and own end-to-end NG911 network architectures aligned to NENA i3 standards and state-level requirements
• Implement AWS-based network architectures and maintain hybrid network topologies for public safety answering points (PSAPs)
• Lead hands-on deployment of complex network architectures and coordinate with customer IT teams for successful go-lives

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years in network engineering, architecture, or telecom infrastructure, including principal/lead-level experience
• Hands-on experience with AWS network architecture and deep knowledge of SIP/VoIP/telephony systems
• Strong foundation in IP networking, including routing, switching, and VPNs
• Proven experience with high-availability, mission-critical systems and NG911 architecture
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty or CCNP/CCIE are preferred
