Principal OpenShift Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing cloud-native platform transformation, the full-time remote Principal OpenShift Engineer will manage and optimize enterprise-scale OpenShift Kubernetes environments, focusing on automation, security, and performance enhancements.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and optimize enterprise OpenShift Kubernetes platforms deployed on High-Performance Compute infrastructure
- Design and implement automated deployment and lifecycle management solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks
- Collaborate with developers to enhance platform reliability, scalability, and security while troubleshooting complex issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years administering Kubernetes platforms in production environments
- Experience with Ansible and automation frameworks
- Proven expertise with Red Hat OpenShift and solid Linux administration skills
- Experience implementing enterprise monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
