Principal Oracle Exadata Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Oracle Exadata Migration Engineer to support the migration of Oracle databases to Azure hosted Exadata.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Principal technical authority for Oracle Exadata platforms
• Lead and support Oracle database upgrades to version 19c in preparation for migrations
• Oversee and validate vendor-led Exadata migrations and production cutovers

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on Oracle database experience
• Deep expertise with Oracle Exadata, including RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and performance tuning
• Proven experience supporting large scale Oracle migrations with production cutovers
• Strong understanding of application to Oracle connectivity and DNS/networking concepts
• Ability to operate at a Principal level, including architecture ownership and cross-team leadership
