Job Summary
Providing expert oversight and direction, the full-time Principal Pharmacovigilance Specialist will manage pharmacovigilance services for clients, ensuring compliance with global regulations while collaborating with internal teams and mentoring junior staff, with opportunities for hybrid remote work.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the development of project-specific documents and provide guidance as a pharmacovigilance subject matter expert
- Perform case follow-up activities and manage complex cases and escalated inquiries
- Support training material development and conduct training sessions for staff
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences is required; advanced degree, RN, RPh, PharmD, or equivalent is preferred
- Four years of related work experience in pharmacovigilance
- Advanced knowledge of pharmacovigilance systems, such as Oracle Argus Safety or ARISg
- Ability to maintain up-to-date knowledge of global safety regulations for medicines
- Experience in mentoring and training less experienced staff
