Principal Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Platform Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the reliability, scalability, and operational health of platform services
• Collaborate with leadership and customer support to clarify requirements and resolve user-reported issues
• Lead cloud and infrastructure work, optimizing existing backend components and maintaining compliance with security requirements

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, Azure, or equivalent)
• Backend engineering experience, ideally with Node.js, Python, or TypeScript
• Solid understanding of relational databases and operational management
• Experience running and evolving production systems
• Familiarity with EdTech and STEAM education
