Principal Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Platform Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop applications, pipelines, and services to enhance Kubernetes clusters for business value
• Implement CI/CD operations and safe git practices in support of DevSecOps standards
• Provide integrations across various infrastructures including VMWare, AWS GovCloud, and Azure for Government

Required Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 7 years of experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
• Experience in technical leadership roles such as architect, manager, or engineer
• Experience with CI/CD automation using GitLab or Jenkins and developing solutions with Terraform, Helm, Python, Golang, or Bash
• Experience in installing, deploying, and supporting Kubernetes clusters in various environments
