Principal Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Platform Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and execute the hybrid cloud strategy, designing networking, security, and compute layers for workload mobility
• Lead enhancements to the Kubernetes-based developer framework to improve scalability and developer velocity
• Define standards for service reliability, observability, and production-grade stability across platform-layer services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 12+ years in Software or Infrastructure Engineering, with significant experience in a Principal or Architect role
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes internals and ecosystem
• Proven experience designing and migrating complex workloads between on-prem data centers and AWS
• Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code and advanced observability tooling
