Principal Platform Engineer

Job Summary

As a Principal Platform Engineer, this full-time hybrid position will define and champion the long-term platform engineering strategy, architect enterprise-scale solutions, and lead technical initiatives to enhance infrastructure across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement platform engineering strategies, architecture standards, and operating models
• Architect multi-cloud and hybrid platform blueprints, ensuring compliance and security
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and technical enablement efforts to promote platform capabilities

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in platform engineering, cloud architecture, or enterprise infrastructure
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field
• Experience in financial services or a regulated industry (preferred)
• Master's degree in a related field (preferred)
• Industry certifications such as TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, RHCA, or CKS (preferred)
