Principal Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting enterprise database and data platform environments, the full-time Principal Platform Engineer will lead the design, modernization, and implementation of scalable and secure database solutions while working remotely from specific states.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and evolution of enterprise database platforms across cloud and on-premises environments
• Define engineering standards and automation approaches to enhance operational consistency and delivery speed
• Collaborate with various teams to deliver resilient database solutions aligned with business and technology priorities

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in database engineering or platform engineering within complex enterprise environments
• Deep expertise in relational and NoSQL databases, particularly with Azure database services
• Proven success in performance tuning, automation, and high availability/disaster recovery
