Principal Policy Development

Job Summary

Driving policy development for fraud, identity, and transactional risk, the full-time remote Principal Policy Development will draft, revise, and implement clear policies while collaborating across teams to ensure coherence and effectiveness in GoFundMe's Trust & Safety framework.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and revise policies and guidelines related to fraud, identity risk, content moderation, and campaign integrity
• Collaborate with various teams to identify policy gaps and propose actionable solutions based on enforcement data
• Own the policy lifecycle, including performance measurement and operational calibration with enforcement teams

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of policy experience, particularly in fraud, identity, or transactional risk
• Proven track record of authoring and implementing policies at scale
• Experience in operationalizing policy and writing enforcement guidelines
• Ability to communicate complex policy concepts to diverse audiences, including Legal and Product teams
• Familiarity with policy calibration processes and enforcement data analysis
