Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Procurement Specialist to manage procurement processes and supplier interactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare solicitations and analyze cost/price, technical capability, and financial viability from subcontractors and service providers
  • Manage supplier performance and monitor cost, schedule, and status, implementing corrective actions as necessary
  • Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations while ensuring compliance with government regulations
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with DoD procurement/subcontract compliance and federal regulations (FAR/DFAR)
  • Experience with SAP (PRISM/APEX) and automation tools
  • Experience in written contractual authorization/vehicles (Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus, T&M)
  • Demonstrated commitment to high ethical standards and interpersonal skills in diverse environments
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field is preferred
