Job Summary
A company is looking for a Principal, Product Analytics to build and lead analytics efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and implement the end-to-end instrumentation plan for the platform, including event taxonomy and data quality
- Establish core metrics aligned with business goals and define measurable success criteria for product and marketing initiatives
- Audit existing data systems, close gaps, and establish scalable data standards to improve performance visibility
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years in analytics with experience leading an analytics function or major initiative
- Strong experience with instrumentation and event taxonomy design; familiarity with Segment preferred
- Experience in building and applying attribution models and defining KPIs across various teams
- Ability to work in ambiguous environments and translate business questions into data requirements
- Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, or similar) and familiarity with Snowflake and dbt-based data models preferred
