Principal Product Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Product Analytics Engineer to define and build the technical foundation of its product analytics ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design of the product analytics data ecosystem, including telemetry and analytics datasets
• Establish scalable data models to support analytics, experimentation, and AI-powered insights
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable product data and enforce best practices for telemetry and instrumentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with 12+ years of experience, or a Master's with 8 years, or a PhD with 5 years, or equivalent experience
• Experience with large-scale product data from web and mobile applications, including Android OS software and devices
• Deep experience in designing product analytics data infrastructure, including schema design and ETL pipelines
• Extensive hands-on experience with tools such as Amazon S3, Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, and expert-level SQL skills
• Proven ability to translate stakeholder needs into scalable data architecture
