Job Summary

Principal Product Designer, responsible for leading the design of connected devices in a full-time remote role, focusing on creating seamless user experiences across hardware and software for family-oriented products.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end design for Life360's devices portfolio, ensuring elegant and scalable user experiences
• Map and storyboard user journeys, creating visual artifacts for stakeholder feedback
• Guide and mentor fellow designers while fostering a culture of design innovation and collaboration

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in designing mobile-first, consumer-facing products, particularly in hardware and IoT
• Strong UI/UX craft with a portfolio showcasing data-informed design solutions
• Experience with device lifecycle moments such as unboxing, onboarding, and troubleshooting
• Skilled in rapid prototyping and designing AI-enhanced user experiences
• Systems thinker with a proven track record of creating scalable design frameworks
