Principal Product Designer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Principal Product Designer will own the end-to-end design for the container platform, distilling complex developer workflows into elegant solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging AI tools throughout the design process.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design for the container platform
• Collaborate and iterate with a cross-functional team of designers, product managers, and engineers
• Mentor and coach members of the product design team

Required qualifications

• Proven track record influencing product direction and strategy with actionable, research-informed design
• Deep experience designing for developer tools, platforms, or infrastructure products
• Solid understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods
• Fluency with prototyping, quick visualizations, and iterative development
• Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring product designers
