Principal Product Designer

Job Summary

To lead strategic product initiatives in the sustainability and environmental impact space, the contracted Principal Product Designer will work remotely for 6 to 12 months, focusing on shaping and delivering innovative products that help organizations achieve their ESG and sustainable growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive product and experience strategy for complex, data-rich ecosystems, emphasizing user-friendly experiences
• Translate sustainability frameworks into actionable product initiatives while collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize sustainable opportunities
• Lead the design and delivery of digital products that support responsible business practices and long-term resilience

Required qualifications

• 10-15 years of product management experience, including senior or principal-level roles
• Experience with sustainability-focused products in domains such as energy, mobility, or ESG data
• Deep understanding of sustainability frameworks like SDGs and net-zero strategies
• Ability to bridge business strategy with environmental objectives and user experience
• Experience working with agile design methodologies
