Principal Product Designer

Job Summary

As a highly influential individual contributor, the full-time Principal Product Designer will lead the design process, mentor other designers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a human-centered financial product experience while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full design arc from research to prototyping and launch, ensuring a coherent and high-quality user experience
• Influence product direction through strategic thinking and strong storytelling in roadmap and strategy discussions
• Enhance the design team's operations by improving critique culture, evolving design systems, and adopting AI-assisted workflows

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a fast-paced D2C product design environment
• Strong principal-level craft with a proven track record of shipping successful products in collaboration with Product and Engineering
• Experience using Figma and Jira as core tools in the design workflow
• Intellectually curious and self-driven, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and push work forward independently
• Demonstrated experience in leveraging AI to enhance design efficiency and processes
