Principal Product Designer

Job Summary

Owning end-to-end product design, the contract remote Principal Product Designer will translate user needs and business goals into polished, intuitive digital experiences while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive design projects from discovery through delivery, ensuring alignment with user needs and business objectives
• Create wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity visual designs, and interactive prototypes that communicate design intent clearly
• Advocate for usability and user-centered design principles throughout the product lifecycle, contributing to a culture of design excellence

Required qualifications

• 5-8+ years of experience in product or digital design with a strong focus on visual design execution
• Proven ability to independently deliver end-to-end design projects from discovery through launch
• A portfolio showcasing polished visual design and measurable product impact
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility standards, and usability best practices
• Strong collaboration skills with experience working alongside product managers and engineers
