Principal Product Designer

Job Summary

Operating as a highly influential individual contributor, the full-time Principal Product Designer will lead the design process from research to launch, ensuring a human-centered approach while collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full design arc, including research, prototyping, and collaboration with engineers to ensure successful product launches
• Influence product strategy and roadmap discussions by contributing a strong vision and point of view on customer experience
• Mentor and elevate the design team through feedback, collaboration, and the promotion of best practices in design systems and AI-assisted workflows

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a fast-paced D2C product design environment
• Strong principal-level design craft with a proven ability to lead through influence
• Experience using Figma and Jira as core tools in the design workflow
• Demonstrated ability to leverage data and insights to inform design decisions
• Genuine excitement about incorporating AI into design processes for improved efficiency
