Principal Product Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Product Manager for OpenTelemetry (App SDKs).

Key Responsibilities

• Define and evangelize the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for OpenTelemetry instrumentation
• Engage with developers and platform engineers to understand their needs and build solutions
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and developer relations teams to drive product features from inception to launch

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of product management experience, preferably with technical or developer-focused products
• Hands-on experience in the observability domain, such as SRE, DevOps, or software development
• Strong understanding of OpenTelemetry components and a passion for open standards
• Proven ability to translate customer insights into a successful product roadmap
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and open-source communities
