Principal Product Manager
Job Summary
To support the development of secure, scalable platform capabilities, the remote Principal Product Manager will manage product strategy, drive platform adoption, and collaborate with engineering and design teams to enhance AI-powered experiences for developers and partners.
Key responsibilities
- Build platforms, APIs, and enterprise capabilities to enhance GitHub's developer and AI experiences
- Leverage data and customer insights to prioritize investments and inform strategic decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute product strategies for key initiatives
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management, software development, or related fields, or a Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience
- Experience building enterprise-grade platform capabilities for AI-powered or developer-facing products
- Demonstrated success in driving platform adoption and large-scale product initiatives
- Deep understanding of developer ecosystems, APIs, SDKs, and partner integration models
