Principal Product Manager
Job Summary
Owning the execution for the Couchbase Mobile portfolio, the remote Principal Product Manager will manage product strategy, drive rigorous execution, and enhance developer experience for products like Couchbase Lite, Sync Gateway, and Edge Server.
Key responsibilities
- Develop a detailed roadmap for the Couchbase Mobile portfolio and ensure successful product delivery
- Write technical product requirements, collaborate with engineering and design teams, and validate pre-release features
- Enhance operational excellence by improving release quality and developer experience across the product portfolio
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of product management experience with a focus on distributed systems, databases, or developer platforms
- 3+ years of hands-on software development experience in creating or architecting production applications
- Proven track record of improving execution quality for mature products
- Strong technical background in client-side application development and familiarity with mobile app technologies
- Understanding of edge computing and AI concepts relevant to product strategy and execution
