Principal Product Manager
Job Summary
Owning the core ethernet services portfolio, the full-time remote Principal Product Manager will define the product strategy and roadmap for Fabric EPL/EVPL virtual connections and Equinix Metro Connect, while managing P&L and engaging with customers to enhance service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Define a 3-year vision and quarterly roadmap for Fabric ethernet services, driving product convergence and enhancing customer experience
- Own the P&L for Fabric ethernet and Metro Connect, modeling pricing architecture and tracking product KPIs
- Conduct market engagement with enterprise network architects and represent the ethernet portfolio at industry forums
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of product management experience in cloud infrastructure, networking, or carrier connectivity products
- Deep knowledge of carrier ethernet standards and Layer 2 forwarding technologies
- Experience managing P&L or product line financials, including pricing and margin analysis
- Ability to write engineering-grade product specifications for development teams
- Familiarity with enterprise and cloud WAN architecture, including DCI and SD-WAN overlays
