Principal Product Manager, FHIR

Job Summary

Owning the roadmap for FHIR-based interoperability, the full-time remote Principal Product Manager, FHIR will manage product requirements, set measurable KPIs, and translate regulatory standards into actionable product strategies to enhance healthcare connectivity.

Key responsibilities

• Own product requirements for FHIR-based data exchange and translate CMS interoperability rules into functional specifications
• Define and track KPIs for network growth and API performance, utilizing dashboards to monitor interoperability metrics
• Conduct market research and analyze usage data to prioritize new capabilities and enhancements for the FHIR-based network

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of product management experience with at least one FHIR-based or healthcare interoperability product from concept to launch
• Deep knowledge of FHIR/HL7 standards and CMS interoperability regulations
• Working knowledge of payer and provider data systems, including EMR/clinical coding and claims
• Experience in defining and tracking KPIs/OKRs using analytics tools
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
