Principal Product Manager, OpenTelemetry

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Product Manager for OpenTelemetry (App SDKs).

Key Responsibilities

• Define and evangelize the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for OpenTelemetry instrumentation
• Engage with developers and platform engineers to understand their needs and build solutions
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to translate user needs into product features

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of product management experience, preferably with technical or developer-focused products
• Hands-on experience in observability, such as roles in SRE, DevOps, or software development
• Strong understanding and passion for OpenTelemetry and its components
• Proven ability to turn customer insights into successful product roadmaps
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and open-source communities
