Principal Product Manager, Ranking

Job Summary

Driving the strategy for search and ranking systems, the full-time Principal Product Manager will manage the technical roadmap for patient-provider matching in a remote environment, focusing on maximizing successful care relationships through advanced machine learning techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and communicate the strategy for search, retrieval, and ranking across the organization
• Oversee the end-to-end experimentation program, including hypothesis development and performance reporting
• Collaborate with ML engineers and data scientists to define model objectives and evaluation metrics

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience, particularly in search, ranking, or marketplace matching
• Experience shipping machine learning ranking or relevance systems to real users
• Ability to engage in architectural discussions with ML engineers and make informed decisions on system design
• Fluency in embeddings, semantic search, and LLM-powered products
• Strong presentation skills with experience in advocating for product strategy to executive teams
