Principal Product Manager, Risk

Job Summary

As a full-time Principal Product Manager, Risk, the successful candidate will own the strategy and execution of a risk platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and scalability for new products in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define the strategy and roadmap for a risk and fraud platform, focusing on user-friendly tooling for risk operators
• Build fraud prediction and detection systems by integrating vendor models and creating feedback loops to mitigate risk
• Translate regulatory requirements into product insights and requirements, representing the risk platform in senior leadership discussions

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience in risk, compliance, or trust & safety platforms within fintech or financial services
• Deep expertise in fraud typologies and risk rules, along with AML and onboarding compliance
• Experience leading modular platform design and collaborating with engineering and data science teams
• Strong analytical skills with a background in applying ML and risk signals to enhance operational efficiency
• Technical fluency in APIs, event-driven architectures, SQL, and GitHub
