Principal Production Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Production Engineer responsible for enterprise production reliability and operational resilience in a regulated Financial Services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as senior escalation authority for high-priority production incidents and lead coordinated response efforts
• Own the end-to-end Problem Management lifecycle and drive remediation of systemic control weaknesses
• Define and govern enterprise Disaster Recovery strategy and ensure alignment with business impact analysis

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Production Engineering, Disaster Recovery, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Hands-on experience with observability and incident management tools, as well as CI/CD tools
• Strong programming/scripting ability in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Vendor or industry standard certifications in applicable specialty or related technology areas preferred
