Job Summary
To lead electric transmission siting projects with a focus on client management and business development, the full-time salaried Principal Project Manager - Transmission Siting will manage siting strategies, oversee quality assurance for deliverables, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, with the option to work remotely or from one of the Northeast/Midwest subregions.
Key responsibilities
- Advise and oversee the management of siting and routing efforts for various transmission projects
- Lead the development of siting strategies and ensure quality assurance of work processes and deliverables
- Foster collaboration among project teams and enhance relationships with utilities and transmission developers in key regions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in planning, environmental science, natural resources management, law, geology, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of ten years of relevant industry experience, including at least four years in transmission siting
- Minimum of five years of project management experience
- Demonstrated experience with federal and state laws governing resource management
- Experience managing complex transmission projects and supervising multidisciplinary teams
