Principal Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

Leading a team of QA engineers in a hybrid work environment, the full-time Principal Quality Assurance Engineer will define and implement the quality strategy for labor management scheduling, focusing on both manual and automated testing to enhance operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team in developing and executing test plans, strategies, and automated tests across various layers
• Define quality standards and best practices, ensuring comprehensive system coverage and alignment with business goals
• Manage test assets and workflows using Azure DevOps, facilitating defect management and quality metrics tracking

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related analytical field, or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance within a Windows environment
• 2+ years of experience using Jira, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps for task and defect management
• 4+ years of experience creating automation test plans with modern automation tools and frameworks
• 2+ years of experience leading quality assurance teams and implementing manual and automated testing strategies
