Principal Quality Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Quality Designer to lead local quality initiatives and ensure alignment between engineering, product, and quality throughout the game's development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the local point of contact for Software Quality and Process Alignment, maintaining alignment between teams and shaping quality goals
• Act as a product owner for software quality initiatives, tracking progress and driving early visibility on risks and dependencies
• Champion the use of automation and emerging technologies to improve testing effectiveness and reduce manual efforts

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software development, technical leadership, quality engineering, or a related role
• Strong engineering literacy to understand technical discussions and architectures
• Proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment in complex, multi-location organizations
• Experience with quality strategy, automation initiatives, or technology-driven operational improvements
• Comfortable interfacing with senior technical and executive leaders
