Principal Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting business-critical programs within the New Product Development Core team, the full-time remote Principal Reliability Engineer will develop and conduct technical reliability studies, recommend design methods for product reliability, and perform risk analysis of new designs and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and conduct technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts
• Recommend design or test methods and statistical process control procedures to achieve required product reliability levels
• Complete risk analysis studies of new designs and processes, ensuring corrective measures meet reliability standards

Required qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 5 years, or a PhD with 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience in reliability engineering, including risk management and statistical analysis
• Ability to develop mathematical models for reliability assessment
• Knowledge of design controls and quality disciplines
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization
