Principal Research Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time Principal Research Engineer focusing on AEC Data and Generative AI, the successful candidate will collaborate with engineers and scientists to develop scalable data pipelines and transform unstructured AEC data into machine learning-ready formats, working in a hybrid environment across the East Coast of the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate to develop scalable data pipelines for diverse AEC data sources used in production ML systems
• Transform unstructured AEC and infrastructure data into suitable representations for machine learning
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to align data formats with training and fine-tuning of large language models (LLMs)

Required qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5-8+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Engineering, or related fields
• Proven technical leadership in complex projects and cross-functional teams
• Strong experience in geometric data modeling and processing
• Proficiency in Python and strong software development practices
