Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Research/Data Scientist in the Platform - ML R&D team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic research and define technical roadmaps for text-only and multi-modal models
• Enhance infrastructure to accommodate larger models and provide guidance on data preparation and training
• Explore model variants and mentor junior team members while fostering a culture of innovation

Required Qualifications

• Deep understanding of xLMs, particularly in retrieval and reranking techniques
• Extensive experience in designing, training, and debugging model architectures
• 6+ years of professional software development experience in Python (PyTorch)
• Experience with large-scale model training and optimization techniques
• Proven ability to communicate complex concepts effectively and lead technical discussions
