Principal Research Scientist
Job Summary
To build and scale Clinical Research, the full-time Principal Research Scientist will establish and execute the research and publication strategy, manage the research roadmap, and collaborate on peer-reviewed publications while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Scale the clinical research function by developing quarterly roadmaps and overseeing execution in collaboration with leadership
- Lead projects from conceptualization to execution, providing analytical insights through strategic analysis and experimentation
- Influence senior leadership and contribute to corporate strategy and growth through data-driven recommendations
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in health services research, clinical epidemiology, or health economics with a demonstrated publication record
- Experience leading research teams, overseeing staff, and obtaining grant funding
- Strong background in real-world health care data, including health insurance claims and EHR data
- Hands-on technical fluency in SQL and Python/R, with experience in modern data stacks
- Proven ability to translate complex insights into clear business impact through strong communication skills
