Job Summary

To drive innovative research and development, the full-time Principal Research Scientist - AI will lead the creation of deep learning and generative AI models for large-scale email data, optimizing performance and establishing robust evaluation frameworks in a flexible hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead R&D initiatives for deep learning and generative AI models tailored to large-scale email data
• Define and advance model optimization techniques, including fine-tuning open-source foundation models
• Establish and standardize evaluation frameworks for generative systems and integrate AI tools into development workflows

Required qualifications

• PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, NLP, or a related field
• 9+ years of hands-on experience in applied machine learning, deep learning, and NLP at scale
• Demonstrated experience with fine-tuning LLMs and knowledge distillation techniques
• Strong understanding of transformer architectures and generative models
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
