Principal Researcher

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Researcher to join their Health Division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as principal investigator or project director for health policy projects, managing teams and budgets
• Offer leadership in content, methods, and policy expertise
• Contribute to project efforts through publication of papers, reviewing analyses and client deliverables for quality assurance

Qualifications:

• PhD in economics, sociology, psychology, or related field with strong background in econometrics/statistics and research design, or Master's Degree with at least 11 years of experience in research and data analysis
• Experience in implementing and/or conducting research on alternative payment models, with knowledge of Medicare, Medicare Advantage, or Medicaid programs
• Proven track record of winning competitive contracts/grants and leading impact studies
• Collaborative leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills at a senior level
