Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Researcher in the Health field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a thought leader in project execution and business development, focusing on work for CMS and the CMS Innovation Center
• Direct execution of large complex projects or portfolio of smaller projects; oversee planning, design, and implementation of project procedures
• Lead proposal efforts, act as an industry expert for alternative payment models, and coach and manage others for their development

Required Qualifications:

• Ph.D in Economics, Health Services Research, or related field with at least 7 years of relevant work experience, or Master's degree with 11 years of relevant experience
• Minimum of 5 years project management experience, direct experience with CMMI alternative payment model contracts, and a proven track record of winning new business with CMS or other HHS agencies
• Extensive knowledge of Medicare payment policy, Medicare Advantage, and/or Medicaid, as well as knowledge of Medicare claims, provider claims, survey data, and other datasets
