Job Summary

Leading the design and analysis of survey data in health program evaluations, the full-time Principal Researcher in Survey Methodology will work remotely to develop questionnaires, manage data processing, and produce statistical reports while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities:
  • Support the development and execution of survey methodologies, including sampling frame evaluation and complex design sampling
  • Conduct technical reviews of data collection plans and author technical reports for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Supervise and mentor research staff while managing project budgets and timelines in a collaborative environment
Required qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in survey methodology, economics, psychology, sociology, statistics, computer science, public policy, public health, or related fields with 8+ years of experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of survey operations, including questionnaire design and data analysis
  • Experience with statistical software such as Stata, SAS, R, or Python
  • Proficient in descriptive and inferential statistics and methodological concepts
  • Experience leading projects and writing proposals for federal agencies
