Principal RF Payload Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal RF Payload Engineer to join their RF Systems team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead detailed RF system modeling and EM simulation efforts
• Develop system level budgets and maintain technical oversight of system performance
• Act as subject matter expert in new program proposal development and manage outsourced component development

Required Qualifications

• BSEE/Physics with 13 years of related experience or MSEE/Physics with 11 years of related experience
• Expert knowledge of EM simulation tools for waveguide, antenna, and planar component design
• Expertise in space-based antenna systems, high-power PA design, or satellite communications transponder system design
• Deep hands-on experience with RF circuits and systems
• Experience leading teams and mentoring junior engineers
