Principal Salesforce Developer

Job Summary

Owning the release process end-to-end, the full-time remote Principal Salesforce Developer will design and build production-quality solutions in Apex and Lightning Web Components while coordinating deployments across Salesforce environments and mentoring junior developers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production Salesforce solutions, taking ownership of complex features from architecture through deployment
• Manage the release calendar and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure proper deployment processes and approvals are followed
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance team standards and practices

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with at least 3 years at a principal or staff level
• Deep fluency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and the Salesforce declarative toolset
• Expert-level knowledge of Gearset, including pipeline setup and change monitoring
• Strong experience with GitHub and Jira for version control and release tracking
• Proven ability to coordinate releases with non-technical stakeholders effectively
