Job Summary

Leading production planning process design and optimization in SAP S/4HANA, the full-time Principal SAP PP Specialist will manage demand management, MRP, capacity planning, and production order management while collaborating with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure material availability and production efficiency, with a focus on MES integration.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimize production planning processes in SAP S/4HANA, including demand management and capacity planning
• Analyze planning run results, resolve material shortages, and align production schedules with business demands
• Support real-time data interfaces for production orders and operations, ensuring seamless communication between SAP and shop floor systems

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
• Typically 12+ years of related experience
• Extensive understanding of IT systems, software configuration, and business processes
• Expertise in software environments and upgrades
• Certification varies by business system
